Sinhagad Road

Sinhagad Road (also referred to as Tanaji Malusare Path) is a major arterial road in south-western Pune, running from the older city area toward Khadakwasla and the base of Sinhagad Fort. It passes through a string of localities — Vadgaon Budruk, Dhayari, Narhe and Nanded, among others — that have developed into residential suburbs over the past two decades, largely under the Pune Municipal Corporation.

The corridor connects to the Mumbai–Bangalore highway (NH4) and provides road access toward the rest of south and west Pune. Proximity to the Khadakwasla reservoir gives parts of the corridor a greener, less congested character than more central parts of the city.
